Summer reading lessons are a great way to keep your child on track with their reading goals and not back slide over the summer months. Tree House Tutor will offer private lessons on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in both June and July. I encourage your child to attend both days each week. Summer lessons will start Tuesday, June 3rd and will continue through Wednesday, July 23rd. The Tree House will be closed the week of June 30- July 4.
The Tree House has Orton Gillingham and multisensory trained reading teachers, as well as teen helpers working with us to meet all of our students’ needs.
Reading lessons are a lot of fun. We work hard but we have a lot of fun in the process. We play games and do other fun activities where students don’t even realize they are improving their reading skills. Private lessons center around decoding skills, vocabulary, comprehension, fluency, phonemic awareness, and written expression.
There will be a $50 summer materials fee and a $100 nonrefundable deposit. Space is limited and fills up quickly so please let me know if you would like your child to have a spot.
