Tree House Tutor  was created out of MariElliot's love for teaching.  She now assists school aged children in building a strong reading foundation.

Tree House Tutor offers individualized tutoring for your child with rates quoted based on your needs.  Also available are small group sessions that accommodate similarly focused children and skills. Tree House Tutor utilizes the Orton-Gillingham approach to reading. Multi-sensory techniques are used to help children orthographically map words which allows for better fluency and comprehension.

Individual tutoring

Hands on learning manipulatives allow these tutoring sessions to be tailored to a student's needs.  For the K-3rd grade student a variety of objectives are covered including: word decoding skills, enhanced reading comprehension, spelling and writing skills. Package rates available.

Group Tutoring

During the summer, both group and private tutoring sessions are available. Group sessions are divided by grade. This allows for students to work together in a fun environment while still learning the fundamental skills to build a strong reading foundation.
